Ongava Tented Camp is situated along the southern boundary of Etosha National Park in the 30,000 hectare, privately owned Ongava Game Reserve. There is a much-frequented waterhole in front of the camp where guests can experience excellent game viewing from the comfort of their veranda.

ACCOMMODATION
Ongava Tented Camp is situated in the Ongava Game reserve towards the centre of Etosha National Park. It is a small, classic, traditional tented camp built in a different sector of the reserve to the Ongava Lodge. Guests sleep in 8 large comfortable walk-in “Meru” tents with en-suite bathroom including flush toilet and a hot shower. The bathroom is under thatch while the shower is in the open air. The main dining area is under thatch with a veranda and all meals are enjoyed here as it overlooks an active waterhole. The camp also has a pool.
ACTIVITIES AND WILDLIFE
Activities include game drives into Etosha or on the Ongava Reserve. Rhino tracking on foot is a speciality offered at this Camp and is an exhilarating experience. Game drives into the Okaukuejo area of Etosha are also undertaken, where Lion, Elephant, Cheetah, Gemsbok, Springbok, and Hartebeest can be seen at many of the waterholes. Ongava has resident White Rhino and Black Rhino, allowing guests staying at Ongava the opportunity to see both species. Birding is also excellent in this region.
