This safari visits the amazing Southern Tanzania Parks of Selous and Ruaha and ends with a few nights relaxing on the beach.
The Selous Game Reserve and Ruaha National Park are excellent wildlife regions and offer a more exclusive safari experience. The game viewing is simply terrific.
Detailed itinerary
Days 1 – 4: Selous Game Reserve
On Arrival in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania ex International Flight, once you clear customs and enter the arrivals hall you will be met by an Africa Uncovered representative and transferred to the domestic airport for your flight to the Selous. On arrival in the Selous Game Reserve you will be met by a Siwandu Safari Camp representative and transferred to Siwandu Safari Camp.
3 Nights at Siwandu Safari Camp (Selous Game Reserve) staying in tented accommodation on a full board basis including scheduled game viewing activities (2 activities per day – Game drives, bush walks and river excursions).
Days 4 – 7: Ruaha National Park
You will be transferred to the airstrip in time for your flight to Ruaha. On arrival in Ruaha National Park you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to Jongomero Camp.
3 Nights at Jongomero Camp (Ruaha National Park) staying in tented accommodation on a full board basis including scheduled game viewing activities.
Days 7 – 10: Ras Kutani
Day 10: Departure
