Detailed itinerary
Days 1 – 3: Jao Camp, Northern Okavango Delta
On arrival in Maun you will be met by an Africa Uncovered representative and assisted in boarding a light aircraft to the Northern Okavango Delta to Jao Camp.
2 nights Jao Camp (Okavango Delta) staying in a tented room – Full Board Basis, including non-premium drinks and scheduled game viewing activities. Jao Camp also offers safaris by boat and Mokoro (dug out canoe) safaris which are very unique to the Okavango Delta.
Days 3 – 6: Mombo Camp, Chief's Island, Moremi Game Reserve
After your morning activity you will be transferred to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Chief’s Island in the heart of the Okavango Delta. On arrival at the airstrip you will be transferred to Mombo Camp. Mombo Camp has the reputation of offering the finest game viewing in Botswana.
3 nights Mombo Camp (Chief’s Island, Okavango Delta) staying in a tented room – Full Board Basis, including non-premium drinks and scheduled game viewing activities which include shared morning and afternoon game drives.
Days 6 – 9: Kings Pool Camp, Linyanti Wildlife Reserve
After your morning game drive you will be transferred back to the airstrip for your flight to the Linyanti. On arrival at the airstrip you will be met by a lodge representative and transferred to Kings Pool Camp.
3 nights Kings Pool Camp (Linyanti) staying in a tented room – Full Board Basis, including non-premium drinks and scheduled game viewing activities. Which include morning and afternoon/evening shared game drives as well as safari bush walks (bush walks are dependent on grass levels and are at manager’s discretion).
