Serengeti Pioneer Camp is a luxury tented safari camp located in the prime wildlife haven of Moru Kopjes in the South/Central Serengeti. Moru Kopjes is an exceptional wildlife region even when the Migration has headed further North from July.

Serengeti Pioneer camp is perched on its own kopje (hill) offering wonderful views of this wildlife rich area.

Serengeti Pioneer Camp is a luxury Serengeti safari camp located in one of our favourite parts of the Serengeti called Moru Kopjes. From July onwards we recommend combining this camp with a camp further North in the Serengeti.

Serengeti Pioneer Camp Description

Serengeti Pioneer Camp is an authentic but luxury safari camp and consists of ten large tented rooms all with en-suite facilities which included a flush toilet, vanity basin and showers. There is also a central dining tent for meals.

This safari camp is eco-friendly and is run off solar energy and sources food locally where possible.

This lovely safari camp offers a truly authentic safari experience which is reminiscent of the old 1930’s mobile safari camps.

SERENGETI PIONEER CAMP ACTIVITIES & WILDLIFE

Serengeti Pioneer Camp has an excellent location and is ideal for seeing the Migration in May and June. This camp though can be combined with other Serengeti camps throughout the year especially when the Migration has moved further north.

Pioneer Camp offers outstanding views of the open Serengeti Plains.
