Qorokwe Camp Summary
Qorokwe Camp is a luxurious tented camp located in a predator rich concession in the South eastern sector of the Okavango Delta. The concession that Qorokwe Camp is located in borders the wildlife rich Moremi Game Reserve. The landscape around Qorokwe is a mixture of waterways, palm fringed islands and dry mopane woodland.
Qorokwe Camp Description
The camp consist of a large main area which includes a dining area and lounge area and looks out over a lagoon that often attracts different wildlife. There is also a fire pit and an infinity pool. The main area is open fronted to maximise the views out over the lagoon and surrounding bush.
The 9 tented rooms at Qorokwe are all linked by a sandy pathway covered in bark chips. The rooms are nicely spread-out to ensure privacy. The tented rooms are very spacious and include a sofa and chairs as well as a large bed with a mosquito net. There is also a ceiling fan and a stand-alone fan on the ground. The bathroom contains his and hers basins. There is a separate toilet and a big shower with a glass sliding door that is setup so that you can have an outdoor shower experience if you prefer.
Qorokwe Camp is 100% run on solar. Wifi is available at the camp.
ACTIVITIES & WILDLIFE
Wildlife viewing is nothing short of excellent. Qorokwe Camp offers some of the best wildlife viewing in the Okavango Delta. Predator sightings are particularly good. Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Wild Dog, Buffalo and Elephant are regularly sighted. The main focus at Qorokwe Camp are game drives, however Qorokwe also offers bush walks and Mokoro (traditional canoe) rides, water levels permitting.
