This romantic honeymoon itinerary combines a safari in the amazing Selous Game Reserve followed by a relaxing beach stay on the island of Pemba.
Detailed itinerary
Days 1 – 5: Sand Rivers Selous Camp, Selous Game Reserve
On Arrival in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania ex International Flight, once you clear customs and enter the arrivals hall you will be met by an Africa Uncovered representative and transferred to the domestic terminal where you will connect with your flight to the Selous Game Reserve. On arrival in the Selous you will be met at the Airstrip by a Sand Rivers safari guide and transferred to Sand Rivers.
4 Nights at Sand Rivers Selous staying in a suite room on a Full Board Basis including non premium drinks and scheduled safari activities (morning and afternoon game drives, safari bush walks led by an experienced guide, boat excursions on the Rufiji River).
Days 5 – 10: Fundu Lagoon, Pemba Island
You will be transferred from Sand Rivers to the airstrip for your flight to Pemba Island. On arrival in Pemba you will be met by an Africa Uncovered representative and transferred to Fundu Lagoon.
5 Nights at Fundu Lagoon staying in a Beach Front Room on a Full Board Basis inclusive of non premium drinks.
Day 10: Departure
You will be transferred back to Pemba Airport in time for the flight back to Dar es Salaam.
