The Africa Uncovered team strongly believes in the protection of Africa’s greatest treasure—its Wildlife. This is one reason why being in the travel business gives us so much pleasure, as tourism is vital to the sustainability of Wildlife Conservation. Over the years, as African Safaris have become ever more popular, more and more of Africa’s land has come under conservation protection, and local governments and communities, have benefited from not only income streams but also from employment generated by the Safari Lodges. Thus people that may once have relied on poaching for survival have now turned into game-rangers and conservationists, thus becoming the “gate keepers” of Africa.

ATTA Member
With over 350 members, the African Travel and Tourism Association (ATTA) is Europe’s largest trade association promoting Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.
ATTA acts as the focal reference between its members in Africa and the UK travel industry. Members encompass all aspects of tourism. In Africa they include hotels, lodges, camps, tourist boards, airlines, tour and ground operators, as well as publications. In the UK the majority of tour operators and representation companies handling Africa complete the membership.
