The Africa Uncovered team strongly believes in the protection of Africa’s greatest treasure—its Wildlife. This is one reason why being in the travel business gives us so much pleasure, as tourism is vital to the sustainability of Wildlife Conservation. Over the years, as African Safaris have become ever more popular, more and more of Africa’s land has come under conservation protection, and local governments and communities, have benefited from not only income streams but also from employment generated by the Safari Lodges. Thus people that may once have relied on poaching for survival have now turned into game-rangers and conservationists, thus becoming the “gate keepers” of Africa.
Africa Uncovered is fully insured for tour operators liability risks*, in accordance with the Package Travel Regulations 1992. Our policy is arranged through specialist brokers Campbell Irvine (Insurance Brokers) Limited and the cover is underwritten by certain Lloyd’s of London underwriters.
*Subject to the Terms & Conditions in the relevant policy documents
