Kakuli (meaning old buffalo bull), is a beautiful camp consisting of five traditional walk-in safari tents each with en-suite bathrooms made from natural materials. Kakuli is a seasonal camp on the confluence of the Luwi and Luangwa rivers.
The bar and dining area is constructed of reed and thatch forming the centre point of the camp. This building along with each of the tents is on an elevated stretch of riverbank overlooking a wide grazing lawn that follows the Luangwa River until it meets the confluence of the Luwi and Luangwa rivers. The views from Kakuli Bush Camp are spectacular.
