The camp accommodates a maximum of 8 guests so it is really exclusive. The tents are traditional style Meru East African luxury safari tents, which are spacious and extremely comfortable with each tent having its own veranda and en-suite facilities. Ensuite facilities include a Safari bucket shower and a short drop toilet.
Meals are served al-fresco in the main mess tent and guests usually are seated together in the warm and cosy atmosphere of the camp.

Serengeti Safari Camp shadows the Wildebeest Migration, locating itself as close as possible to the great herds, the camp will not move during a guests stay, but will have been positioned before your arrival in likely proximity to the predicted migratory path.
Each set of guests at Serengeti Safari camp will also have their own private vehicle and guide which adds enormously to the overall safari experience, as guests can set off at their own pace with their very professional guides and have the flexibility to search for the animals that they are keen on viewing.
December to April: Serengeti Safari Camp is located on the southern Serengeti Plains as it shadows the main herds which head to the Southern Serengeti to calve through February. Birding is excellent during this time, as is general game viewing.
May to Early July: Serengeti Safari Camp moves to the Moru Kopjes area, central Serengeti Plains, and to the Western Corridor as the huge herds of Wildebeest and other plains game of the migration moves west and north. The migration patterns can be unpredictable at this time of year, but the wildebeest rut (May) and the crossing of the Grumeti River (June/July) are spectacular if caught.
Mid-July to November: Serengeti Safari Camp moves to the northern Serengeti close to either the Mara or Bologonja Rivers. This area offers excellent game viewing and the river crossings are exceptional to witness.
Towards late November: Serengeti Safari Camp starts to head south again, arriving on the southern Serengeti Plains around mid-December.
