Savanna Private Game Reserve encompasses the very essence of an “Out of Africa” camp. The tented suites combine the romance of a tented roof and draped inner ceiling, with the sophistication of a permanent structure that ensures luxury and privacy. Savanna Lodge has 7 beautifully appointed rooms, 3 are top of the range executive suites, each with it’s own private plunge pool. These en-suite bathrooms feature double wash hand basins, enclosed toilets, double showers and Victoriana ball and claw baths. The 4 luxury suites of equal standard, though slightly smaller and without private plunge pools and double showers. All of the suites have a well stocked mini bar.
The central facilities consist of an outdoor swimming pool, a dining room, lounge, bar and library loft area all overlooking a waterhole where some of Africa’s most impressive wildlife can be viewed.

Lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino, cheetah, hippo and crocodile plus a multitude of general game and over 450 bird species may be viewed from the comfort and safety of the open game drive vehicle.
Professional highly qualified game rangers and trackers, who are experienced and knowledgeable on all aspects of the bush, conduct game drives. Two state of the art landrovers are used for game drives and have been expertly modified to ensure your safety and comfort. The afternoon game drive is purposefully interrupted for sundowners to witness an African sunset, and the absolute peace and quiet of the bush. Optional walking safaris are conducted daily, in order to experience the beauty and fascination of Africa’s flora and fauna. Bush dinners and bush breakfasts are on request, weather permitting.
