ROYAL MADIKWE LODGE

Wildlife
The Madikwe game reserve hosts all of the Big Five, Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo in large concentrations, as well as Cheetah, Hyena, Sable, Eland, Gemsbok, Giraffe, and the speciality of the area—the endangered Wild Dog. Large herds of plains game and over 300 species of bird are also endemic to this reserve. The Royal Madikwe Lodge offers both morning and evening game drives to give guests the opportunity to seek out this awesome array of wildlife.
