MIGRATION & ZANZIBAR HONEYMOON EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
This romantic honeymoon itinerary explores the wildlife rich Ngorongoro Crater followed by a safari in the Southern Serengeti staying at a camp that is perfectly located to see the massive migration herds. You will then end your Honeymoon with 7 nights on the exotic spice island of Zanzibar.
This itinerary is ideal for travel from December to end of March when the great herds are spread out on the Southern Serengeti Plains.
Detailed itinerary
Days 1 – 2: Onsea House, Arusha
On Arrival at JRO (Kilimanjaro International Airport) you will be met by an Africa Uncovered Representative and transferred to Onsea House.
Days 2 – 4: Plantation Lodge, Ngorongoro Crater
You will check out of Onsea House and be met by your private guide and you will set out in your private 4×4 safari vehicle for the Great Rift Valley. You will stop along the way for a game drive in Lake Manyara National park. After your game drive in Lake Manyara National Park you will continue on to a beautiful lodge located in the Ngorongoro Highlands.
2 Nights at Plantation Lodge (Ngorongoro Highlands) staying in a standard room on a Full Board Basis excluding drinks and an excursion into the Ngorongoro Crater with your private guide and vehicle.
Days 4 – 7: Olakira Camp, Southern Serengeti
After your check-out you will depart with your private guide and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservancy and into the Southern Serengeti to Olakira Camp which will be perfectly placed for seeing the great migration herds.
3 Nights at Olakira Camp staying in a Tented room on a Full Board Basis including non-premium drinks and private vehicle and guide to explore the Southern Serengeti National Park.
Days 7 – 14: Breezes Beach Club & Spa, Zanzibar
You will be transferred in the morning to the airstrip where you can connect with a flight to Zanzibar. On arrival in Zanzibar you will be met by an Africa Uncovered representative and transferred to Breezes Beach Club & Spa.
7 Nights at Breezes Beach Club & Spa staying in a suite on a full Board Basis.
Day 14: Transfer Dar es Salaam Airport
You will be collected from Breezes Beach Club & Spa and transferred to Zanzibar Airport where you will connect with a flight to Dar es Salaam.
