CAMPING SAFARIS
Luxury tented camping safaris are a throw back to the more classical and traditional style of safari. Camping safaris involve being “on the move”, having your tented camp move with you or travelling to permanent tented camps. The tented accommodation comprises luxury, “out of Africa” walk-in safari tents, furnished with 2 comfortable beds, linen, blankets, pillows and en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet.
The more basic tents used are 3m x 3m dome shaped tents which accentuate the feeling of the wild and untamed, complete with pure cotton linen bedrolls (with duvets) on GI stretchers, bedside table with silver lantern and mini luggage benches. Shared separate toilet and shower ‘bathrooms’ with old-style tin bucket showers and basins create simple serviced comfort.
