Bostwana & Zambia | Guided Safari
This guided safari explores the diversity and excellent wildlife of northern Botswana: from camping on islands in the Okavango Delta, and its crystal clear waterways, to the game rich plains of the dry Savuti marsh and the seasonal elephant herds at our Linyanti concession. This safari where possible also takes in the amazing annual zebra migration (December to late May) between the Linyanti and Savuti, documented by Dereck and Beverly Joubert in their famous documentary, “The Stolen River”.

BRIEF ITINERARY
Day 1 Arrival in Livingstone, Guided tour of the Victoria Falls and then road transfer to Shackletons, Zambezi River.
Days 2, 3 & 4 Road transfer to Kasane for a river boat cruise, Chobe National Park and then fly to Linyanti Trails Camp,Linyanti/ Chobe
Days 5, 6 & 7 Drive to Lechwe Island Camp, North Eastern Okavango Delta
Days 8 & 9 Fly to Xigera Mokoro Trails, Moremi Game Reserve
Day 10 Fly to Maun
Accommodation: The style and essence of this exploration safari takes you back to the bygone days of Africa’s exploration; the ultimate safari. Our 3m x 3m dome tents complete with verandas allow you to feel more connected and open to the Earth and nature, accentuating the feeling of the wild and untamed. Pure cotton linen bedrolls (with down duvets) on GI stretchers, teak bedside table with silver lantern and teak mini luggage benches add to the atmosphere. Shared separate toilet and shower ‘bathrooms’ with old-style tin bucket showers and basins and all amenities create simple serviced comfort.
Safari bathrooms: At Xigera, Linyanti and Lechwe there are 2 bucket shower “bathrooms” and 2 short-drop toilet enclosures per 8 guests.
Guides: The entire safari is guided and hosted by a professional guide, who shares in-depth knowledge to present a seamless safari experience.
Exclusive experience: To ensure as much privacy and exclusivity as possible, most areas in which we travel are private concessions in prime locations. All Explorations camps are private and for the use of Adventurer Exploration guests only, while Shackletons is shared with other guests.
