LUXURY KRUGER SAFARI ITINERARY

DAY ONE:
On arrival in Johannesburg you will be met by an Africa Uncovered representative and transferred to the Michelangelo Hotel in Sandton, Johannesburg. The hotel is in the heart of Africa’s most exclusive shopping centre, Sandton Square, offering guest’s access to a variety of restaurants, shops and boutiques, as well as cinemas and theatres.

DAY TWO, THREE, FOUR & FIVE
After breakfast you will be transferred to Johannesburg International Airport where you will check in for your flight to Leopard Hills Airstrip. Once checked in, indulge in the facilities of the premier lounge. Enjoy the luxury of a chartered flight to a remote bush airstrip, where on arrival you will be transferred to Leopard Hills Game Reserve.

Leopard Hills is situated in the Western sector of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, bordering the world famous Kruger National Park. The lodge is built on a hill overlooking a natural waterhole. Not far from the camp the perennial Sand River is a sanctuary for many bird species and host to wallowing Hippo’s and basking Crocodiles as it gently flows to the heartbeat of Africa. From your hilltop sanctuary, you may be lucky enough to catch sight of a Leopard on the hunt, a breeding herd of Elephant or hear a lion’s almighty roar echoing through the valleys below.

Each of the 8 luxurious glass-fronted suites, complete with their own sundeck and rock plunge pool offer superb views of the African bushveld beyond, while air-conditioning and overhead fans provide welcome respite against the harsh African heat. The breath-taking romantic bathrooms, which include double indoor and outdoor showers, have windows that open to a glorious view of the passing cavalcade below. Enjoy the privacy of your suite and salute the timelessness of Africa over a drink from your fully stocked mini bar. Or drift into a deep and peaceful sleep whilst enjoying a full body massage.

Each day is different as one explores the endless fascination of Africa’s wildlife in state of the art Landrovers specifically designed for Leopard Hills, each landrover having individual bucket seats with fold down armrests, ensuring optimum safety and comfort. Early morning and late afternoon / evening game drives in search of Africa’s big game, are conducted by your knowledgeable, professional ranger. On safari you may see prides of Lion, Elephant, White Rhino, Buffalo, Cheetah, Wild Dog, Hyena and many more.

DAY SIX:
After breakfast you will be transferred to Leopard Hills’ Airstrip to fly to Johannesburg International Airport for your trip home.
