NTWALA ISLAND LODGE

Ntwala Island Lodge

Situated within the Mambova Rapids, 80 kilometres upstream from the Victoria Falls, where white sands and palm trees add to the romance, and belie the fact that this lodge is in Africa. Ntwala Island Lodge is a wonderfully pristine and secluded Chobe destination.

Intricate floating walkways, surrounded on all sides by seductively wild and powerful waterways, link an untouched Namibian cluster of islands. Ntwala Island Lodge is here, at the confluence of the mighty Chobe and Zambezi Rivers.

ACTIVITIES AND WILDLIFE

Ntwala Island Lodge Dining

Meander the multiple waterways with your personal guide and private boat, indulging in a vast array of activities; Mokoro the quiet backwaters or take in an exclusive Chobe sunset cruise whilst viewing Africa’s big game. Pursue the famed Tigerfish on fly as the water lulls your senses and precipitates peace. Visit for a time, reminisce for eternity.

The rivers and floodplains are host to a horde of animal and bird life untouched by modern tourism. Huge herds of Elephant follow ancient migratory paths as their forebears once did, moving as softly as the clouds of dust that announce their presence. Wallowing Hippo, proud Lion, rare Puku and shy Chobe Bushbuck are just some of the animals that make the area their home.
