Location: The Governors’ Bush Camp is located in a walking concession area close to the boundary of the Masai Mara Game Reserve
Number of beds: 4 tents (maximum 8 beds)
Double & Twins: Twins and double tents as per requirement
Facilities: En-suite bathrooms with his and her bucket showers, hot and cold water, basin and flush toilet
Tents: Spacious luxurious safari tents under canvas, each with private verandah
Electricity: Gas & Paraffin lamps in tents and in the camp
Bar / Restaurant: Open bar and dining tent with view over the Mara plains
Room service: Room service on request. Tea and coffee is served in the tents with the morning wake up call
Bush meals: Bush breakfasts, lunches & dinner under the stars
Laundry: Daily at no extra cost
Game walks: Game Walks during the day with qualified guides in a private concession area adjacent to the Masai Mara Game reserve daily; morning with a champagne bush breakfast and afternoon with sundowners and canapés (included in the price).
Whole day game walks with a picnic lunch can also be arranged on request
Game drives & Game drives during the day are available for clients staying at the bush camp, early
Night Game Drives: and mid morning as well as in the afternoon with experienced driver guides in the
Masai Mara Game Reserve (included in the price). Night game drives are offered after dinner, which is particularly rewarding for the nocturnal animals not seen during the day at no extra cost
Balloon Safari: With professional balloon pilots daily, at dawn, in the Masai Mara Game
Reserve followed by a champagne bush breakfast and game drive on return to camp

Culture: Visits to a nearby Masai village (manyatta) can be arranged (to be paid locally) or visits to the local school, one of Governors’ Camps charity and community support initiatives Mfangano Island Day excursions to Lake Victoria by light aircraft. Bird watching, boat rides, Camp on Lake walking and fishing are available on Lake Victoria. Excursion with overnight at

December. Green season—April and May and November the Bush Camp is closed
Children: Of all ages are welcome and catered for, however walks are only available for
children over 10 years old
