Chui Lodge Summary

Cui Lodge is located In the Great Rift Valley, above the shores of Lake Naivasha in a private 18,000 acre wildlife conservancy. The lodge is nestled in a grove of Euphorbia trees, overlooking a waterhole with the dramatic Mau Escarpment as a backdrop. This setting epitomises the Masai translation of the word Oserian as being a “place of peace”.

Chui Lodge Description

Chui is crafted from simple bush stone, local Acacia, Leleshwa and Olive woods with a beautiful twisted Marula roof. All the textiles in the Lodge are original batik artworks done on site, whose warm shades enhance the earthy colours of the ochre enriched walls. Magical bark cloth lampshades bathe the African antiques and fascinating carvings on the pillars in subtle light.

There are 8 en suite individual and well-spaced luxurious cottages each with its own veranda and views of the Rift Valley escarpment and the conservancy.The bedrooms have magnificent four poster king size olive wood beds, roaring log fires, artistically decorated artwork and hand crafted furniture made in our onsite workshop.

There is also a heated swimming pool with views of the waterhole.

CHUI LODGE ACTIVITIES & WILDLIFE

Chui Lodge offers it’s Guests the chance to roam the reserve in 4WD vehicles in complete privacy and yet see an array of wildlife including White Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Eland, Giraffe, Zebra, Oryx, Greater Kudu and many more.

Sundowners around a roaring log fire after an unforgettable game drive is the perfect way to end the day at Chui Lodge. Chui Lodge also offers walks and boat rides on Lake Naivasha and horse riding and a visit to Hells Gate National Park can also be arranged.
