Tubu Tree Camp is situated in the 60.000 hectare Jao Reserve which borders the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana’s Okavango Delta. The Camp is a traditional style tented safari camp built on raised wooden platforms. The camp has diverse habitats ranging from dry Kalahari sandveld to Mopane forest and riverine forest on the edge of permanent waterways. Tubu Tree Camp is a traditional style tented safari camp built on raised wooden platforms to take best advantage of the beautiful view over the floodplains. The camp accommodates guests in 5 large, comfortable tents, each with a small, private deck in front. Each tent has en-suite bathroom facilities, hot and cold running water and a private outdoor shower. The main dining and lounge areas are also on raised platforms and the outdoor pub area is built under the canopy of a large Marula tree.

Activities at Tubu Tree Camp include day and night game drives in open 4×4 vehicles, as well as walking with an armed guide. When the Okavango’s annual flood is at its highest (normally May to late September), boating, fishing and mokoro trips are also offered.
The diverse habitats that make up Tubu Tree Camp ensures interesting game viewing and spectacular birding. Elephants, Lion, Zebra, Red Lechwe, Giraffe, Tsessebe and Wildebeest can be seen on the floodplains. Kudu, Impala, Leopard and Bushbuck can be seen in the forested areas.
