LITTLE MOMBO FACT SHEET
Low Season: December to March

ACCOMMODATION
- Three super luxury tents with 2 x twin beds in each tent.
Custom-made linen enables twin beds to be converted into a king sized bed on request.
- One twin guide tent that is shared with Mombo Main Camp – it is the same standard as a guest tent but smaller in size.
This camp can accommodate six guests plus tour leader.
Room details:
- Luxury tents with door entrance (not zip) on raised decks overlooking the surrounding game filled plains with verandah.
- En-suite bathrooms (Outdoor as well as indoor showers), separate flush toilet.
- Sala & Fan at each tent.
- Soaps, shampoos and insect repellents are supplied in each tent
CAMP DESCRIPTION
- Same standard as the new Mombo
- Dining room is under thatch raised on deck
- Plunge pool
- Curio shop
- Kgotla (boma) for dining under the stars
- Joined by raised deck to Mombo main camp
ACTIVITIES
- Type – 100% Game Drives, 0% Water Activities (although guests do see water)
- Game drives via 1×10 seater open Land Rover for six guests.
- Game drives on Chief’s Island and surrounding area.
- Best game viewing in Botswana.
- Night drives not possible at the moment but will change when the new Moremi Wildlife Reserve rules come into place.
- Private vehicle on request (5 vehicles in the concession, 3 used at Mombo, 1 at Little Mombo & 1 available for private use).
- Short game walks can be offered during siesta time on request. Please note that no rifles are allowed in the Park.
SUGGESTED DAILY ACTIVITY SCHEDULE
Below is only a suggestion – as daily wildlife sightings tend to throw the schedule right out of schedule.
Summer/Winter
05h00/06h00 – Wake up call, Light continental breakfast consisting of cereals, tea/coffee/juices and pastries.
05h30/06h30 – Depart on morning activity, returning to camp at approximately 10h00.
11h00 – Brunch will consist of a selection of breakfast and lunch dishes. Guests will be at leisure until afternoon tea.
15h30/16h00 – Afternoon tea will be served – this will consist of a selection of sweet and savoury snacks.
16h30/16h30 – Depart on afternoon viewing activity – drinks and snacks will be served for sundowners.
20h00/19h30 – Pre-dinner drinks and snacks will be served at the pub.
20h30/20h00—Three-course dinner – generally speaking the starter and desert is served, whilst the main course is buffet style.
21h30/21h00 – Coffee and liqueurs will be served at the campfire. Cigars are on offer.
