ACCOMMODATION

8 luxury-tented rooms consisting of:

  • 7 twin bedded tents
  • 1 honeymoon tent
  • this camp can accommodate 16 guests with tour leader.

Tent details:

  • All canvas, Meru style luxury-safari tents on raised decks with door entrances.
  • En-suite facilities within tent
  • Additional outdoor showers and outdoor sitting area on raised platforms, overlooking floodplains.
  • Fans & Mosquito nets in all guest tents
  • Soaps, shampoos and insect repellents are supplied in each tent.

CAMP DESCRIPTION

  • On raised wooden platforms & walkways linking thatched communal area with tents.
  • Plunge pool
  • Slide projector available
  • Curio Shop
  • Dinners under the stars (traditional Kgotla style) – weather permitting
  • Private vehicle on request.

SUGGESTED DAILY ACTIVITY SCHEDULE

Below is only a suggestion as to what may happen in camp – as daily wildlife sightings tend to throw the schedule right out of schedule.

Summer/Winter

05h00/06h00 – Wake up call. Light continental breakfast consisting of cereals, tea/coffee/juices and pastries.
05h30/06h30 – Depart on morning activity, returning to camp at approximately 10h00.
10h00/11h00 – Brunch will consist of a selection of breakfast and lunch dishes. Until afternoon tea, guests will be at leisure. Reading in our library, relaxing by the pool, short nature and bird walks are all options.
16h00/15h00 – Afternoon tea will be served – this will consist of a selection of sweet and savoury snacks.
16h30/15h30 – Depart on afternoon game viewing activity – drinks and snacks will be served for sundowners.
19h30/19h00 – Return to camp (but could be later if good game sightings).
20h00/19h30 – Pre-dinner drinks and snacks are served in the lounge.
20h30/20h00 – 3 course dinner – starter and desert is served, whilst the main course is buffet style.
21h30/21h00 – Coffee and liqueurs will be served at the campfire.

GRATUITY SCHEDULE

The following is the suggested gratuity schedule only and is subject to service standards:

● Guides – US$5.00 per person per day ● General Camp Staff – US$5.00 per person per day
● Specialist Guides (if applicable) – US$10.00 per person per day
